When you create a HIMAJOR account, we ask you to create a username and password and to provide your first name, last name, and email address. When you submit an application, or otherwise use our facilities to perform an action that requires the payment of a fee to the client (e.g., to pay admission application fees), we collect your electronic payment information.
We also automatically collect some information when you use our sites, such as your IP address (a unique number assigned to a specific computer on the Internet) and standard information included with every communication sent on the Internet. This information allows us to determine your browser version and type, operating system, browser language, Internet service provider, and which pages you view on our Web sites. All of this information may be aggregated and used for various purposes. It is not, however, used to identify you personally.
An application or other form is "in process" from the time you start it until the time you complete it. While it is in process, you may access the form and modify the information you have entered into it by following the instructions on the application or other form. Once you submit a form, you will not be able to access or modify the information submitted on that form through HIMAJOR.
Use of Personal Information
We use the information you give us to provide the benefit, assistance or service you are requesting or would like to obtain. We may transfer aggregate or group data about our users for lawful purposes. Aggregate or group data is data that describes the demographics, usage or other characteristics of our users as a group without disclosing personally identifiable information. Article 1 To deepen understanding and friendship between China and people all over the world and to enhance standardized administration on foreign students acceptance and education, we made this regulation according to The Educational Law of the PRC, Higher Education Law of PRC and The Entry and Exit Administration of the People's Republic of China.
Article 2 The Institutions of Higher Education mentioned in the regulation refer to the regular institutions of high education approved by Ministry of Education of PRC to provide full-time degree education; the “Foreign Students” in the regulation refer to foreign citizens who hold foreign passport and accept academic education or non-degree education
Article 3 The foreign students training and acceptance of institutions of higher education should follow the policies of “Strengthening reformation, enhance management, ensure quality, and develop actively and steadily”
Article 4 The institutions of higher education accepting foreign students should possess the necessary teaching and living condition and should have corresponding teaching research level and management level.
Article 5 The institutions of higher education should follow national foreign policy, maintain benefits of national sovereignty, security and society
Article 6 The Ministry of Education generally controls and manages study in China work, takes charge of formulates foreign students’ acceptance policies and guidelines, and manages “China Government Scholarship”, coordinates and guides foreign students’ acceptance of schools in all areas, and makes assessment on schools in all areas’ foreign students management and education quality. Ministry of Education appoints China Scholarship Council to take in charge of foreign students’ admission and specific management.
Article 7 Foreign students acceptance of institutions of higher education is examined and approved by all provincial, autonomous regions and municipalities administration department of ministry of education jointly with equaled foreign affair and public security departments.
Article 8 The provincial, autonomous regions and municipalities administrative departments of ministry of Education take in charge of the institutions of higher education’s coordinated management of foreign students admission. The foreign affairs offices and public securities assist administrative department for education to do foreign students management work.
Article 9 Institutions of higher education take in charge of foreign students’ admission, education and teaching, and daily management. The school should appoint school leaderships to be respectively in charge of foreign student management; the school should establish foreign student management system according to the requirement of relevant regulations, and should set up management organizations or appoint managers to be in charge of foreign student affaire.
Article 10 The institutions of higher education can provide academic education non-degree education for foreign students. The levels of academic education that foreign students accept contain vocational education, undergraduate education, master’s education and doctorate education; and the types of the students accepting non-degree education are advanced students and research scholars.
Article 11 The institutions of higher education should formulate foreign student enrollment policies and publish admission regulations to enroll foreign students as required.
Article 12 The quota that institutions of higher education enroll foreign students is unrestricted from the limitation of national students admission plan
Article 13 the institution of higher education should settle down and publish fees the foreign students should pay and fee standard, and the fee should be dominated in RMB.
Article 15 the programs offered for foreign students by institution of higher education should be the public ones. The new degree programs opened separately for foreign students should report to the ministry of education to be examined.
Article 16 The foreigners applied to institutions of higher education in China for study or advanced study should be qualified and meet the admission requirements, and should have reliable financial guarantee and guarantor in China.
