Course Overview

The Food Technology, Safety and Quality Diploma Program is designed to help students develop a hands-on approach to food safety and quality, while allowing them the opportunity to earn food safety certification. The program incorporates the specialized knowledge and skills required to implement the fundamental principles of quality assurance. Additionally, the program is designed to be equally useful for entry level or ongoing career development in the food and beverage industry

Problems can be looked at as being in one of three possible categories:

1. NUTRITIONAL ‑The plant has either too little or too much of one or several particular nutrients available to it.

2. ENVIRONMENTAL ‑The environmental conditions are not suitable e.g. heavy rain, flooding, frost, snow, hail, sunlight, etc.

3. PATHOLOGICAL ‑One or several organisms are interfering with the health of the plant (such organisms are called "pathogens").

It requires a great deal of knowledge and expertise to be able to diagnose plant troubles. Do not expect to develop such ability quickly.

Food safety is a fundamental public health concern. The Food Safety and Quality has become an area of priority and necessity for consumers, retailers, manufacturers and regulators. Changing global patterns of food production, international trade, technology, public expectations for health protection and many other factors have created a huge demand for food safety and quality auditing professionals.

♦4- Language Proficiency Certificate (if have any Language Certificate).

♦5- One Photocopy of Physical Examination.

♦6- Study/Research Plan (Not Less than 800 Words).

♦7- Two Recommendation Letters from Professors.

♦8- Certificate of Non-Criminal Record.

♦9- Financial Certification (5000USD or Above).
