Astronautical Engineering program aims to help international students to study Aerospace Engineering in China, develop the competence of students in mastering the basic knowledge and methods of aerospace application system design, space exploration, space environment and etc.,and at the same time provide them with specifically designed core courses such as aerospace science and technology,aerospace propulsion theory and engineering, power engineering and engineering thermophysics and etc.
Astronautical engineers use their technical nous, practical skills and expert scientific knowledge to design, develop, research, test, tweak, adjust and upgrade sophisticated and complex engineering solutions, such as space shuttles, space launch vehicles, satellites, rockets, space capsules and planetary probes.
Astronautics Engineering is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering that deals with the design, development, testing and manufacturing of aircraft, spacecraft and missiles. Aerospace engineering provides knowledge of aerodynamics, control engineering as well as avionics, preparing students for a future career as aerospace engineer or spacecraft designer among others.
