With3 Confucius Institutes established in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and all kinds of Chinese teaching points in 44 colleges of 11 countries like Kazakhstan and others, Xinjiang Normal University is awarded the Excellent Chinese Host University of Confucius Institute by Hanban.
A complete education system has been established for the overseas student education in Xinjiang Normal University, including the Master’s Degree program, the Bachelor’s Degree program, long-term and short-term training programs in Chinese, business Chinese and HSK. As one of the test centers for China Business Chinese Test (BCT) and Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), Xinjiang Normal University receives overseas students funded by more than ten types of scholarship from Chinese government, Confucius Institute, Chinese Language Foundation, Xinjiang government and enterprises. The University cooperates with 6 enterprisesor institutions in Urumqi to establish cultural practice bases, and cooperates with 18 intuitions to establish professional practice bases where a large number of foreign graduates complete their internships and are hired each year.
Xinjiang Normal University has its all majors open to overseas students, and the overseas students can choose a major according to their willingness.
