| 1) Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport. | ||||||||||||||||
| 2) Applicants for Masters degrees should hold a qualification which is equivalent (or above) to a Bachelors degree from a Chinese university. | ||||||||||||||||
| 3) Applicants must have a high Chinese level. In principle, applicants for science and engineering degrees must hold at least a new HSK level four 180 or above. | ||||||||||||||||
| Materials for Application | ||||||||||||||||
| 1) The completed APPLICATION FORM FOR FOREIGNER WISHING TO STUDY AT CAU (on completion of the online application form it must be downloaded and printed. Please stick the photo and ensure that the application form is signed by the applicant); | ||||||||||||||||
| 2) The original or the notarized photocopies of degree certificate or proof of education in academic institution, and academic transcript, original and duplicated; | ||||||||||||||||
| *Applicants who will graduate in 2017 must submit Expectation Certificate of Graduation. After admitted by the University, the documents must be submitted when register in CAU. Otherwise the admission will be canceled. | ||||||||||||||||
| 3) Recommendation letters from two associate professors or scholars with higher academic titles. There is no specified format for the recommendation letters and all letters must be signed by the referee ; | ||||||||||||||||
| 4) A study or research plan written in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words); | ||||||||||||||||
| 5) HSK certificate and scores report or the notarized photocopy (unless a waiver is approved or Master's Programs offered in English); | ||||||||||||||||
| 6) 400 RMB Application fee; | ||||||||||||||||
| 7) One Photocopy of applicant’s passport (this must be a valid, ordinary passport); | ||||||||||||||||
| 8) Please submit any published academic papers, patents, or other academic achievements (originals or copies) |
