Diagnose and repair boat hulls and their electrical systems
Repair the latest in four-stroke, digital throttle and shift systems and catalyst inboard engines from Volvo and MerCruiser
Troubleshoot EFI and electrical engines
Rebuild inboard and outboard engines rated up to 425 hp
An engine design course might cover advances made in engine design over time and provide an overview of the primary systems and structures of engines. Students may examine how combustion works and how to analyze parameters involved in burning fuels within an engine.
Marine engine mechanics courses, you can learn about fuel and electric systems, including what they require and how they make the boat and the engine work effectively and safely.
